Joy Ann LaJeret is a musician and singer-songwriter who has been playing in the Pacific Northwest for nearly 20 years. In early 2020, during Covid lock downs, she began writing her first album placing the songs on all notable streaming platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, and many more.
Her music style is Country Rock with a progressive rock influence. Unlike Nashville artists her sound is reminiscent of her home on the West Coast, without the typical Southern inflections of mainstream Country Music. Born and raised in the Midwest, she has naturally been influenced by the musical styles of Canadian singers, songwriters, and bands.
Currently Joy Ann is working on two new pieces to be released this fall titled, "Thinking About Leaving" and "Pieces One by One." They feature both country rock and heavy progressive rock overtones.
Joy Ann has been privileged to work on collaborative projects with Pacific Northwest artists: Chad Quist, Lynn Sorenson, Roger Fisher, Doug McGrew, and many other known artists on the West Coast.
She is produced by singer/songwriter Chad Quist, lead guitarist for heavy hitting Northwest band, Heart by Heart. Quist is also the co-writer of her theme song, "Country Hot," and helped with making “Pieces One by One,” a rock song.
